House Updates!

Been a while since I addressed the decor changes I wanted to make in the house. I'm particularly proud of 3 of the big changes we made which I shall detail for you here...

Guest Bedroom

I actually love sleeping in this guest room on nights when the dogs and the husband are moving around/snoring too much! I kept thing simple since it's just a guest room and took the opportunity to of course throw in splashes of purple.

Here's the "before" from the previous owners

And here is the "after". We painted it with Benajmin Moore Storm Cloud and then added deep purple curtains from Bed Bath and Beyond along with plain white shears.

The night stand and table were found separately on Overstock and Wayfair amazingly. The bedding was a Madison Park set from Wayfair and the headhboard was a Wayfair purchase as well. I just couldn't resist the bling.

The mirror, lamp, and vase were all recycled from the old house.

Foyer

It didn't take too much work to update the Foyer but I still have a flooring project to tackle at some point to get rid of the old school tiles.

I just got a new black console table from Overstock, the Globe cage light from Wayfair, plus a black framed mirror. We used the same paint in here and in the living room and dining room.

Closet

Last but not least is the crown jewel of the house...my closet room!! I re-purposed an entire bedroom to be my closet, makeup room and I love every inch of it, especially the purple paint!
